Kojima Productions, along with the social media account for PlayStation Studios XDEV, have announced that a new update is out now for Death Stranding 2: On the Beach. The update, weighing in at 925.1 MB, fixes a major bug with the in-game camera, which would cause it and the environment to stutter when the game is in motion.
The new update, dubbed patch 1.08, also addresses a host of other minor issues, as well as bringing in some improvements. Death Stranding 2: On the Beach was released on PS5 back in June. Celebrating the release of the title, Kojima Productions had released a final trailer for the game that featured quite a few scenes from the main story, albeit cut together in different ways to not spoil anything by offering context. The trailer was set to industrial electronic music by Woodkid. The trailer also featured a few glimpses of gameplay.
Among the gameplay shown off in the trailer was an intense bike chase, as well as some fights against massive enemies. Cast members of Death Stranding 2: On the Beach also get some of the spotlight in the trailer, including the characters of Luca Marinelli’s Neil and Troy Baker’s Higgs, along with returning characters like Fragile and Heartman.
Shortly after the release of the game, Kojima Productions also celebrated the critical reception of Death Stranding 2: On the Beach with an accolades trailer.
