“It’s the same person making the games, right? So it’s kind of unavoidable in that sense," said Hideo Kojima about the references.
Hideo Kojima's previous works, like Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, surprised players by switching the protagonist early on.
"I didn’t really deliberately make it weird or anything," per Kojima. "What I said was it can’t be a game that is digestible."
The event will celebrate Kojima Productions' first decade, while also providing a look at some of its upcoming new projects.
In an interview, Hideo Kojima spoke about being done with Death Stranding as he considers the ending of On the Beach to be a finale.
Hideo Kojima doesn't want to make any changes to his games that would make too many changes like George Lucas did with Star Wars.
