Death Stranding Director’s Cut is Probably Getting its Final Trailer Next Week

Hideo Kojima says the final trailer for the upcoming extended re-release is ready, and will likely be released later next week.

Death Stranding director Hideo Kojima spent a good while working on the gameplay trailer for its upcoming extended re-release (don’t call it Director’s Cut, okay?), which was shown off recently at Gamescom Opening Night Live. It turned out to be quite an extensive look at everything that’ll be new in the upcoming PS5 release, and ahead of its imminent launch later this new month, it will also be getting a third (and final) trailer.

Kojima recently took to Twitter to confirm that he’s finished working on the final trailer for Death Stranding Director’s Cut and that it’s officially “out of [his] hands” now. Kojima says the trailer is probably going to be released late next week, so there’s that to look forward to. It remains to be seen whether there are any significant details that have yet to be revealed and might be shown off in the upcoming trailer.

Death Stranding Director’s Cut is launching for PS5 on September 24.

Recently, actor Norman Reedus – who plays Death Stranding protagonist Sam Porter Bridges – said that negotiations for a sequel were underway. Read more on that through here.
