Death Stranding director Hideo Kojima recently took to Twitter to inform fans that he has almost finished working on the launch trailer for the game’s director’s cut. The tweet originates from his Japanese account.

As fans of the man would already know, the previous Death Stranding Director’s Cut trailer was not edited by him. Hideo Kojima stated his objectives with the trailer as – to entice movie fans to play Death Stranding, to convince gamers who have either not tried or not finished the game to give it another shot, and to make it a love-letter to fans of the game. That’s certainly a mouthful, and we’ll have to wait and see how the trailer manages to deliver on such high promises.

The mastermind behind Death Stranding and Metal Gear Solid often takes to Twitter to share his insights about stuff, and recently expressed some of his concerns with an all-digital future.
