Death Stranding Director’s Cut will be adding new story missions, visual and performance improvements, additional gameplay features, and more to Kojima Productions’ 2019 game, but there’s more stuff being added to it that wasn’t revealed in the game’s State of Play showing yesterday.
Recently, director Hideo Kojima took to Twitter and confirmed that a Very Hard difficulty option will also be added in Death Stranding Director’s Cut. Meanwhile, composer Ludvig Forsell – who left Kojima Productions earlier this year after a decade of working with the studio – has also revealed that he composed roughly an hour of new footage for the Director’s Cut. Some of the new tracks are apparently some of his “absolute favourites.”
Death Stranding Director’s Cut launches for the PS5 on September 24. It will cost $49.99, while those who already own the game on PS4 can upgrade to the PS5 version for $9.99. Meanwhile, save transfers across PS4 and PS5 will also be supported.
