Defiance Will Take 10 GB of Space to Play On the Xbox 360

This doesn't include the DLC which is spread out over five packs.

First revealed by Electronic Theatre, it seems that Trion Worlds’ upcoming massively multiplayer futuristic RPG Defiance will be packing quite the heft. The game’s initial DLC, which will be spread over five packs and launching between 2013 and 2014, is estimated to weigh in at a heavy 10 GB overall.

Even weirder are the pictures of the box art for the game that have released, which showcases that the game itself will require 10 GB to play. Weird. And it also support Kinect for some odd reason. Even weirder.

Defiance will be releasing alongside the TV show for SyFy which focuses on a group of futuristic bounty hunters using alien weaponry to unearth treasure and riches. Of course they’re also mercenaries. Or something. Regardless, beta tests have been positive so let’s see how the final game pans out.

Defiance releases next week for PC, Xbox 360 and PS3. It will run alongside the show in a parallel effort.
