Denshattack Delayed to July 15 to Work On “Stable Framerates and Bug Fixes”

Undercoders has also confirmed that it's using the extra time to add full Japanese voice acting, which should improve the immersion.

We’re always happy to dive into concepts that you don’t see every day, and Denshattack! certainly qualifies on that front. However, it looks like we’ll have to wait just a little longer to take control of what we can only call a skateboarding train, as the developers have announced delay of nearly a month to the game’s previously planned June 17th launch.

It’s now coming out on July 15th, as the team plans to squash a few bugs that crept up during development and work on a stable 60 frames per second across all available platforms. In case you haven’t been keeping track of this one, you pilot the aforementioned train, performing stunts as you speed past a take on Japan that has its major cities covered in large domes, with some very unique boss designs that include a massive worm.

While the delay is certainly a bummer, it isn’t all bad news, as the team has also announced the addition of full Japanese voice acting that’s sure to be good news for those of you who prefer a subs-over-dubs approach when it comes to Japanese media. Denshattack! will launch on Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC, and we’re definitely counting the days till we get to play this.
