We’re always happy to dive into concepts that you don’t see every day, and Denshattack! certainly qualifies on that front. However, it looks like we’ll have to wait just a little longer to take control of what we can only call a skateboarding train, as the developers have announced a delay of nearly a month to the game’s previously planned June 17th launch.
It’s now coming out on July 15th, as the team plans to squash a few bugs that crept up during development and work on a stable 60 frames per second across all available platforms. In case you haven’t been keeping track of this one, you pilot the aforementioned train, performing stunts as you speed past a take on Japan that has its major cities covered in large domes, with some very unique boss designs that include a massive worm.
While the delay is certainly a bummer, it isn’t all bad news, as the team has also announced the addition of full Japanese voice acting that’s sure to be good news for those of you who prefer a subs-over-dubs approach when it comes to Japanese media. Denshattack! will launch on Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC, and we’re definitely counting the days till we get to play this.
