In its latest weekly update, Bungie is surging forward with Destiny 2’s first DLC Curse of Osiris. It’s out on December 5th but erstwhile players can actually pre-load the DLC at 8 AM PST. It will presumably go live at 10 AM PST, thus affording enough time to get it ready for play as soon as it’s live.
Bungie also confirmed that players will need 88 GB on the PS4, 44 GB on the Xbox One and 68 GB on the PC in order to begin pre-loading the DLC. Note that this size includes both Destiny 2 and the first DLC, not just the size of the DLC and corresponding update.
Curse of Osiris brings a new story that takes players to Mercury. They’ll solve the mystery of Osiris, battle the Vex in their Infinite Forest simulation machine and apparently try to subvert some horrible event. There will also be new gear, weapons and cosmetics to unlock. Season 2 of the game will also be coming with The Dawning returning as an event and bringing its own activities to experience.
