Despite all the hullabaloo over Bungie’s Destiny 2 and the direction taken with shaders, the vast majority of players seem to be enjoying the experience. Some are especially antsy about getting straight into the Nightfall, one of the end-game activities, and have revealed the modifiers involved.
Like Destiny, the modifiers of the Nightfall will slightly change things for better or worse. This week’s Nightfall is the Arms Dealer Strike with the modifiers being Prism and Timewarp. Prism sees your attacks matching the focused element dealing increased damage while all other elemental damage is reduced. This doesn’t affect Kinetic or incoming damage though and the element will rotate periodically.
Timewarp sees the mission timer extended with the more enemies killed though up to a limit. This is in keeping with Nightfalls in Destiny 2 being timed and thus offers somewhat of an advantage to constantly gunning down foes.
The challenges that can be completed are as follows:
- Speed of Dark – Complete the Nightfall with at least 5 minutes remaining.
- Unbroken – Complete the Nightfall with fewer than 3 deaths.
- Trash The Thresher – Shoot down a Thresher while fighting Bracus Zahn.
