After going live early in some regions, server queues (which have seen cleared up) and much hype, Bungie’s Destiny 2 is finally available worldwide for all and sundry. Initial impressions are positive and Bungie has released a launch message for all players.
Well, technically it’s for the “PlayStation Nation” but still. Bungie community manager David “DeeJ” Dague is in front of the camera, telling us that the developer is excited for the journey players will embark on.
Destiny 2 is a direct sequel to the first game and sees the Tower destroyed, the Vanguard ruined and the Red Legion, led by Dominus Ghaul, taking control of Earth. Players lose their powers but embark on a journey to become stronger while rallying the remnants of the Last City to take back the Traveler.
Though Destiny 2 is currently available for Xbox One and PS4, it will be coming to PC via Blizzard’s Battle.net service on October 24th. Impressions on the graphics and controls were very positive so expect Destiny 2 to be even better on PC.
