Bungie celebrated the total solar eclipse (at least in the western hemisphere) in style, by releasing a brand new trailer for Destiny 2– in fact, this is apparently a launch trailer. Given that thematically and narratively, Destiny seems to focus so much on the battle between Light and Darkness, that seems to be appropriate for the day of a total solar eclipse, doesn’t it?
The trailer shows us a lot of gameplay footage, as well as snippets from the game’s campaign. It seems to hint that the disappointing and underwhelming foot forward that the original game put forward on the story and campaign front may be rectified in this new game- though let’s not count our chickens before they hatch.
Destiny 2 is due out on PS4 and Xbox One next month, with a release for PC following a little over a month later, in October. Make sure to check out the new trailer for the game for yourself below.
