Bungie has outlined the content that can be expected in the upcoming Destiny 2 beta for PC in its weekly update. If you played the console beta last month, much of it will look familiar.
However, along with the Homecoming story mission, The Inverted Spire Strike and Countdown on Midtown in Crucible, PC players will also get a crack at new map Javelin-4 in Control. There was no word on whether The Farm, Destiny 2’s new social area, will be available at any point.
The developer also noted that changes to Power Ammo and Supers will also be included though “These changes will be subtle. If you were onboard for the console Beta, see if you can detect them.” The main focus of the beta is to test Destiny 2’s functionality on the PC platform above all else.
Destiny 2’s PC beta begins on August 29th and ends on August 31st. Pre-orders can avail of early access on August 28th with the full game releasing on October 24th. The PS4 and Xbox One versions are out on September 6th.
