Bungie’s Holiday seasonal event for Destiny 2, The Dawning, went live earlier this week. It brought decorations in the Tower, a new submachine gun to earn, and of course, plenty of new Eververse cosmetics. These include emotes, ornaments, ships, armor sets and finishers.
The developer stated beforehand that all cosmetics – save for the Perfect 10 finisher – could be purchased with Bright Dust during the event. But not everyone has tens of thousands of Bright Dust to spare. How much will it cost in Silver? If you estimate all of the cosmetics, which are around 50 or so items, that’s roughly 26,000 Silver or $220 (6,000 Silver costs $49.99).
Not quite the most giving event, especially when titles like Fortnite and Borderlands 3 are giving away skins for free. Still, if you want to purchase something like, say the Northlight Bundle for each class, it will cost 6,000 Bright Dust. The armor can also be used as a universal ornament so you don’t need to mess with your current builds. Just try not to grind out armor sets for all the classes and you’ll be fine.
