A ton of information has been released about Bungie’s next big Destiny 2 DLC Warmind along with the free update 1.2.0 that will ship alongside it. In the latest weekly post, the developer shared a few more new details about what’s coming with the update.
Perhaps the biggest surprise is that the Vault will be increased from 200 to 300 slot. Earlier Bungie revealed that 50 additional slots would be available but it managed to bump things up further. We already know about the emote well but a player’s emote collection will now be available at all times for them to swap to. The best part is that emotes will no longer take up space in your Vault, thus ensuring even more free slots.
To even further save space, items for Exotic quests and the like have been moved to a new category called Pursuits instead of taking up weapon space. Of course, it wouldn’t be Destiny 2 without a controversial change – Bungie revealed that there will be lockouts on raid and raid lair rewards based on one’s class. So if you have three Hunters or two Warlocks then rewards from those activities will only be provided once per week.
Destiny 2’s Warmind DLC is out on May 8th for Xbox One, PS4 and PC. Update 1.2.0 will land on the same day, launching alongside the paid DLC.
