With the announcement of Destiny 2’s next DLC, Warmind, Bungie have an opportunity to assuage many concerns that fans have about the franchise. Even if it can’t be outright salvaged, the DLC could still show players that the developer is thinking of them.
To that end, in its recent development roadmap update, game director Christopher Barrett announced that all Crucible maps in Curse of Osiris and Warmind will be available to all players on May 8th. This is the date that Season 3 begins and the Warmind DLC launches.
Even if one doesn’t own either DLC, they can still expect to see these maps appear in playlists like Quickplay, Competitive, Trials of the Nine, Iron Banner, Rumble and Mayhem. However, if you want to access those maps in Private Matches, you’ll need to purchase both DLCs.
Destiny 2: Warmind will be revealed on April 24th so expect a lot more information on the new enemies, loot, activities and story content around then.
