Exotic vendor Xur is out in the wild again for Bungie’s Destiny 2. Yes, you heard that right – Xur isn’t at the Tower and players have to actually venture out into the wilderness to find him. This week, it’s Giant’s Scar on Io where he will remain until the next weekly reset.
This week, Xur is carrying the Mechaneer’s Tricksleeves (Hunter gloves), Hallowfire Heart (Titan chest) and Transversive Steps (Warlock boots), each for 23 Legendary Shards. They’re all at Power Level 270 courtesy of a +5 Power Level Legendary mod.
Whichever you decide to go with though, avoid Mechaneer’s Tricksleeves – their only talent is to increase sidearm ready and reload speed, which was a perk in most Rare gear for Destiny 1. It’s simply not worth buying (unless you have an abundance of shards and want to finish your collection).
The Exotic weapon for this week is Riskrunner, an Exotic Submachine Gun at Power Level 270 which costs 29 Legendary Shards. Its inherent talent is that getting hurt by Arc energy will increase the damage it causes along with a chance for chain lightning to proc (which can also return ammo). Killing foes increases the duration of this effect.
