If you didn’t hit up Exotic vendor Xur when he arrived on Friday for Destiny 2, then you’ll be happy to know that he’s still around on Titan until the weekly reset on December 26th. Of course, given his merchandise, you might not exactly appreciate what he has to offer.
Exotic gear includes Lucky Pants (Hunter boots), Doomfang Pauldron (Titan gloves) and Wings of Sacred Dawn (Warlock chest), each for 23 Legendary Shards. If they look familiar, it’s because all of this gear is available as the beginning Exotic for each class during the campaign. Doomfang Pauldron is really the only worthwhile Exotic to pick up.
As for the Exotic weapon, it’s the Riskrunner, an Exotic Arc SMG that allows you to deal additional damage and chain lightning between enemies. This can only occur if you take Arc damage. It’s a lot better than it sounds and definitely worth the 29 Legendary Shards that it costs.
There’s also Three of Coins, which makes little to no difference to Exotic drops, and Fated Engram, which has its own share of issues.
