Xur has returned to the Tower in Bungie’s Destiny 2, but he may not exactly be all that welcome. Located in the Tower Hangar, Xur is still only carrying Year 1 Exotics. If you’ve been counting on something from Forsaken, especially after the abysmal drop rates, look elsewhere.
For new players, there are some pretty decent Exotics to be had. Hallowfire Heart is a Titan chest that grants increased recharge rates for Solar abilities, which is further increased when the Super meter is charged. Winter’s Guile are nifty Warlock gloves that keep stacking melee damage with each melee kill. They’re especially great with Voidwalker abilities that recharge your health.
Skip Aeon Swift, regardless of which class you get it for. Trust us. All Exotic gear can be acquired for 23 Legendary Shards. The Exotic weapon this week is Sweet Business, an auto rifle that functions more like a gatling gun. It’s not extraordinary, but thanks to its ammo reserves and pairing with abilities that constantly refresh its ammo, it can be fun. Pick it up for 29 Legendary Shards.
