Xur is present and accounted for in Bungie’s Destiny 2, one day before the launch of The Witch Queen expansion. The Exotic vendor can be found in the Winding Cove in the EDZ where he’ll remain until the weekly reset tomorrow. This week’s Exotic weapon is Trinity Ghoul, an energy combat bow, for 29 Legendary Shards.
Its main perks are “Split Electron”, which fires an arrow that splits (aiming down sights and fully drawing the bow decreases the spread), and “Lightning Rod”, where precision kills bestow chain-lightning to the next shot. If you obtain the Catalyst, then Lightning Rod will trigger from any Arc damage final blow, making it very, very good for clearing out mobs.
The Exotic gear this week includes Graviton Forfeit (Hunter helm), Citan’s Ramparts (Titan gloves) and Astrocyte Verse (Warlock helm), each for 23 Legendary Shards. While Graviton Forfeit and Citan’s Ramparts have been sold often, Astrocyte Verse is somewhat uncommon. Its key perk is “Move to Survive” which increases Recovery on Blink. Weapon recovery speed is also increased while you can also Blink further and more frequently.
This week’s Legendary Armor is the Swordflight 4.1 set with each piece costing 50 Legendary Shards and 1000 Glimmer. Check out the newest Legendary Weapons below:
