Everyone’s favourite (read: hated) Exotic vendor has returned to Destiny 2 and he’ll be hanging around on Io until the next weekly reset. His Exotic wares are pretty typical, especially if you’re a Warlock, but he does have one of the best Power weapons in the game.
Exotic gear this week includes Wings of Sacred Dawn (Warlock chest), Young Ahamkara’s Spine (Hunter gloves) and Mask of the Quiet One (Titan helm), each for 23 Legendary Shards. Whichever you opt for, make sure to skip Wings of Sacred Dawn even if it does look pretty cool. It’s simply not a good Warlock Exotic compared to Winter’s Guile, Ophidian Aspect and Transversive Steps.
As for the Exotic Power weapon, it’s Merciless, a Fusion Rifle that sells for 29 Legendary Shards. The weapon’s calling card is a highly reduced charge time for each hit on an enemy (which reset when they’re dead). If you don’t have Sins of the Past or Wardcliff Coil, Merciless is an excellent option for DPS on bosses.
