Destiny Strike Difficulty Issues Being Investigated by Bungie

If you've been playing solo and noticed higher difficulties, then Bungie is working towards a solution.

The 1.0.3 patch for Bungie’s Destiny may have brought a ton of welcome changes and additions to the game but it’s also been causing a few issues. Aside from some Exotics suffering nerfs, players have reported a higher difficulty for Strike missions on solo.

Bungie addressed these issues in its latest Weekly Update, with designer James Tsai stating that, “We were looking over the data from Strikes and found that some unintentional damage scaling was occurring based on team size. We made a couple of changes. Players can now be certain that people joining their team are helping their progress, not hindering it.

“The side effect of this change is that playing Strikes solo has indeed become a little harder. We acknowledge that this is undesirable for many players and we are considering different ways to solve these problems. We’ll continue to have conversations about how to support the solo player over the longer term.”

How exactly this will be solved remains to be seen but the biggest complaints have been coming from those attempting the Nightfall Strikes alone (which are difficult enough as is). Then again, some players have been finding no problems with the difficulty. What are your thoughts on the same? Let us know in the comments.
