Deus Ex: Mankind Divided Will Support DX12 & AMD’s TressFX 3.0

Machine revolution.

One of the biggest announcements of this year so far is that of Deus Ex; Mankind Divided, the next entry in the long running cyberpunk action RPG series, and the direct sequel to the hit reboot from last generation, Human Revolution. We’ve already seen and obsessed over the trailer that was released accompanying the announcement yesterday- it’s a surefire way to get pumped up about the video game.

But for a large sub-sect of gamers who are also technophiles, that is not enough, not until they get to dissect each detail of the trailer in excruciating detail. So this news post goes out to them- you guys who care about not just how many P’s and FPSs are on the screen, but also how they got there- for all of you, here is something to keep you going for a while. Deus Ex: Mankind Divided will apparently support both, DirectX 12, as well as AMD’s TressFX 3.0. This means it is probably being powered by some very interesting technology, with a lot of interesting possibilities.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided will be out, well, eventually, on Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
