Devil May Cry 4 Special Edition Features Vergil, Trish and Lady as Playable Characters

Capcom adds three new characters in the upcoming remaster.

Capcom is ramping up the additional content with Devil May Cry 4: Special Edition, a remastered port of the 2008 release. Along with 1080p resolution visuals and a 60 FPS frame rate, there will be several new playable characters in addition to Dante and Nero.

Dante’s brother Vergil will be joining the fray and will have his attacks from both Devil Mary Cry 3 Special Edition and DmC: Devil May Cry. Trish and Lady will also be playable, with the former using twin guns and Sparda to her advantage while the latter relies on long-range weapons and her bazooka/grappling hook to move around.

Another interesting thing to note: While Vergil can be used in any mission, Trish can only be used in Dante’s missions and Lady can only be used in Nero’s missions.

This is on top of the Legendary Dark Knight mode which adds even more enemies than before and some new costumes along with other improvements. Devil May Cry 4: Special Edition is out this Summer on PC, Xbox One and PS4 so stay tuned for more details.
