Devil May Cry 5 Demo Hits Xbox One on December 7th, “V” Gameplay Trailer Leaked

The Bloody Palace also returns as a free update, due in April 2019.

The Game Awards 2018 seem to have sprung a leak in terms of announcements. After Far Cry: New Dawn’s cover art and Norman Reedus revealing potential early 2019 release for Death Stranding, the newest trailer for Devil May Cry 5 has leaked. It showcases the third playable character “V” and his rather interesting moveset, using what seem to be familiars.

The trailer is currently viewable below (courtesy of Black Belt Gaming) but could be taken down (UPDATE: It got taken down, but was later officially revealed at The Game Awards- you can watch it here). Perhaps the biggest bombshell announcement from the trailer is an exclusive demo hitting Xbox One on December 7th. Also, the vaunted Bloody Palace will release as a free update in April 2019.

Devil May Cry 5 is slated to release on March 8th 2019 for Xbox One, PS4 and PC. Along with “V” – who dons some totally-not-strange ashen white hair at one point – the trailer seems to showcase 2-3 player co-op. That would line up with co-op and multiplayer being listed when the PC requirements were first announced. We’ll keep our eyes peeled for more information regardless.
