Devil May Cry 5: Special Edition Gameplay Will Be Shown Off At TGS 2020

We'll get our first extended look at the show.

The Devil May Cry series came rushing back into our lives with the highly successful Devil May Cry 5. The game revitalized the series in a big way, and as is tradition, the game is also slated to get a Special Edition release that will see new features such as playable Vergil, Turbo mode, and more. It will even get ray-tracing, though Xbox users will have to wait bit on that. The game is set to launch this year, and we’ll be getting a first look at the gameplay this week.

Capcom’s TGS 2020 website went live, and probably the biggest news in the the show is the huge showcase for Resident Evil Village. But as also stated, it seems the show will actually open with gameplay from Devil May Cry 5: Special Edition. Nothing else is specified with the description only reading “Check out the latest information on the just-announced title, “Devil May Cry 5 Special Edition“! On this day, we plan to show off actual gameplay from the title!” I imagine we’ll at least get to see some extended footage of Vergil.

Devil May Cry 5: Special Edition is set to launch alongside the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S this holiday season. Capcom’s TGS show will air on September 27th.
