Diablo 4 is Now Available Worldwide, Servers Facing Issues

After taking servers down to deal with "failed or slow login attempts," Blizzard Customer Support continues investigating the issue.

Blizzard Entertainment’s Diablo 4 is finally available worldwide after early access began last Friday for Deluxe and Ultimate Edition owners. It’s playable on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5 and PC…or not, if for those unable to log in.

Blizzard Customer Support on Twitter is investigating an issue affecting authentication servers at present, “which may result in failed or slow login attempts.” It may seem normal, especially on launch day, but servers had maintenance a few hours ago for the same issues.

I faced no issues logging in, though lag would pop up occasionally. It’s unknown how many players have accessed the game during early access, but you can bet that the count will be even higher now that Standard Edition owners are in. Stay tuned for more updates in the meantime.

Of course, this is only the beginning of Blizzard’s live-service action RPG looter. Season 1 is set for mid to late July and will add a Battle Pass with new cosmetics, Legendary items, questlines, and more.
