Diablo 4 has a decent end game, at least according to its latest developer video, but getting to it requires completing the campaign. With beta players having to repeat the story on additional characters, will the same apply to the full game, especially in the absence of Adventure Mode?
In a presentation attended by Push Square, it seems that won’t be the case. Blizzard Entertainment said completing the campaign once allows for skipping it with any future characters. With how the world works and the sheer freedom to go just about anywhere, players can prioritize the content they want without worrying about the campaign.
Of course, you’ll have to level up a new character from scratch in each new season. Maxing out the Battle Pass will also take about 80 hours, which is the same time to hit the max level on a single character.
Diablo 4 launches on June 6th for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5 and PC. There will be a new Developer Update livestream on April 20th to provide more details on the end game, so stay tuned.
