Blizzard Entertainment’s development team on Diablo 4 have a busy couple of weeks ahead. Not only is the highly-awaited action RPG launching in a month, but a Server Slam is scheduled from May 12th to 14th. There’s still a lot that fans don’t know, especially regarding post-launch Seasons.
Thus, a new Developer Update livestream is happening on May 10th at 11 AM PDT. Franchise GM Rod Fergusson will be present with associate game director Joseph Piepiora and product management director Kegan Clark to talk about Seasons, cosmetics and how the Battle Pass would work.
Despite Blizzard’s insistence that you can’t pay for power with its Battle Pass, there’s been some skepticism. It also takes roughly 80 hours to level Battle Pass, but the rewards remain unknown, aside from some cosmetics. Regardless, fans will spend a long time with the game, with Piepiora noting +150 hours to hit level 100 on a character (per the average player’s experience).
Stay tuned for more details. Diablo 4 is available on June 6th for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5 and PC. Deluxe and Ultimate Edition owners get early access on June 2nd.
