Diablo 4 – Patch 1.1.1 Changes for Sorcerer, Barbarian, and More Revealed

Sorcerer is getting some much-needed increases in survivability, while Barbarian has more sources of damage in the upcoming patch.

In its recent Campfire Chat for Diablo 4, Blizzard Entertainment revealed numerous changes (with full details compiled on Reddit) for all classes in the upcoming patch 1.1.1. Sorcerer and Barbarian were the recipients of most, though these aren’t the final patch notes.

For instance, the Sorcerer’s Reinforce Rare Glyph and Territorial Rare Glyph grant a 15 percent damage reduction each, up from 10 percent. The Warding Rare Glyph goes 13 percent to from 25 percent. Rare Nodes in the Paragon Board also see several increases in damage reduction.

As for Barbarian, it’s getting some damage increases, like Enhanced Rupture’s damage going from 45 percent to 70 percent, while Enhanced Charge’s damage increase is 60 percent instead of 30. Overpower may also be useful as Bleed damage while Overpowering increases from 11 percent to 70 percent.

The full list of changes is worth checking out and should provide some incentive to roll with either character after the disastrous pre-season patch. Patch 1.1.1 should go live in the coming weeks, so stay tuned.
