The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has finally been dethroned in the UK physical sales charts, with Blizzard’s Diablo 4 debuting on top, per Gfk. Interestingly, its launch week sales are behind Tears of the Kingdom, Hogwarts Legacy, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, Resident Evil 4 Remake and Dead Island 2, per GamesIndustry.
Digital sales on PC will likely make up for it, so stay tuned for those details later in the week. On consoles, 67 percent of sales were on PS5, followed by 27 percent on Xbox Series X/S and eight percent on PS4. Aside from Zelda in second place, other noteworthy changes include Street Fighter 6 in fifth, which saw sales drop by 48 percent.
Even with sales dropping 27 percent week-on-week, Hogwarts Legacy is in third, following Mario Kart 8 Deluxe in fourth. FIFA 23 dropped to sixth place following the end of the season. Interestingly, PlayStation’s first-party titles saw significant sales thanks to increased sales of bundles and consoles. God of War Ragnarok is in seventh with sales up by 67 percent; Gran Turismo 7 is in ninth, and Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales is in 16th.
