Diablo 4’s Next Livestream is 90 Minutes Long; Secret Announcement Teased

The livestream features director Joe Shely and associate director Joseph Piepiora discussing the endgame and beta learnings.

The next Developer Update livestream for Diablo 4 goes live tomorrow, and features game director Joe Shely, associate game director Joseph Piepiora and content creator Rhykker. The focus will be on the action RPG’s endgame, what the developer learned about the classes and dungeons from the beta and more. It’s aiming for 90 minutes, so there should be plenty of gameplay.

But that’s not all. Series GM Rod Fergusson not-so-subtly teased a “secret announcement” that could be revealed. What could it be? A post-launch roadmap? The reveal of Season 1? Some new features? Pushing the release date forward to May? Time will tell, so stay tuned.

In the meantime, Diablo 4 has gone gold and launches on June 6th for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5 and PC. Deluxe and Ultimate Edition owners get early access on June 2nd and cosmetic goodies. Head here for the latest details on the endgame and here for changes coming to the final game based on beta feedback. A map overlay is, sadly, not included.
