I dont know why but some PlayStation 3 fans are disappointed by the recent demonstration of Battlefield 3. According to us it looked pretty phenomenal and come on…you cant really expect it to out perform a full blown gaming PC.
Over at twitter somebody asked Johan Andersson, Rendering Architect at DICE working on Frostbite about what he thinks about PS3 owners who dont really understand game design:
@repi dont u love how PS3 fluffers dont really understand game design?I love their comments on the ps3 footage thinking it can be = pc
To which Johan replied:
yeah some console gamers have really no idea what they are playing on or what a modern PC is capable of
I think Johan makes a pretty valid point. I think console gamers need to realize that the PS3 is almost 5 years old and the 360 will be completing its sixth year soon. But then too, the game is looking pretty damn awesome on the PlayStation 3. Dont take our word for it. Check out the comparison video below:
