Digimon Survive had already been announced for PS4 and Nintendo Switch in Japan recently. Now, the western release of the game has also been confirmed, and as is so often the case with a lot of Japanese games, they will be adding Xbox One and PC versions for their worldwide launch.
That worldwide release will be next year, Bandai Namco has announced, and will celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Digimon anime series. In Digimon Survive, a new group of teenagers led by Takuma Momozuka get lost on a school camping trip, ending up finding and engaging with Digimon. The game, as we have known, blends visual novel and strategy RPG gameplay styles- so basically, like an anime Banner Saga, then.
While no further information was revealed other than what we got, Bandai Namco did promise to share more soon, so maybe we’ll have a localized trailer with a more specific release window soon enough.
