Divinity Original Sin 2 Co-op Footage Emerges, Kickstarter Passes $1.2 Million

Undead playable race will be heading to the final game.

Larian Studios’ Divinity: Original Sin 2 continues its massively successful crowd-funding campaign. Its target goal of $500,000 was surpassed within the first 12 hours of the campaign’s starting and it now currently rests at $1,274,662 with a new playable Undead race having been added as a stretch goal reward.

Co-op footage of the game has also arrived, showcasing how two players can essentially embark on their own adventures while playing. The footage also offers a good look at the gameplay and graphics which appear faithful to the original. Thus far, everything looks to be in tip top shape.

Divinity: Original Sin 2 is in development for PC, Xbox One and PS4. It still has 23 days left on Kickstarter so there’s still time to back it. Divinity: Original Sin Enhanced Edition will be out next month for PS4 and Xbox One, and as a free upgrade to current PC and Mac owners. Stay tuned for more information on both in the coming days.
