Divinity: Original Sin 2 is Out Today, Dev Releases Video Update

The PC version is finally available on Steam after a year on Early Access.

Larian Studios’ Divinity: Original Sin 2 has had a long journey. The follow-up to the critical and commercial success of the original was crowd-funded in September 2015, earning over $2 million in funds. In September 2016, it hit Steam Early Access, further building up on PvP combat polish, combat and much more. Today, the RPG is finally available to all and sundry.

However, it wasn’t without its problems. In the most recent Kickstarter update video, Larian Studios talks about how the power went out in its office in Ghent, Belgium. This stalled things by quite a bit especially given the amount of last minute work that was still going on. Regardless, Divinity: Original Sin 2 is finally out, albeit only for PC. PS4 and Xbox One players will have to wait a bit longer.

Divinity: Original Sin 2 has a lot more to look forward to than the original like Origin Stories, four player co-op, Game Master mode, full voice acting and so on.
