Larian Studios’ Divinity: Original Sin 2 will be exiting Steam Early Access and releasing for PC in September. Along with the complete RPG experience, it will have a number of features not present in the current Early Access build, including full voice acting. Which is surprising because this was a compromise that the developer had previously made and was now changing.
To that end, Divinity: Original Sin 2 will be fully voice acted with 80 voice actors voicing 1200 characters speaking more than 74,000 lines (over 1 million words) of dialogue.
Divinity: Original Sin 2 will feature lots more on top of that including origin stories, complete freedom to do whatever you want (steal, kill, lie, cheat, etc.) and a four player co-op mode which can create different stories if your teammates decide to go rogue. It’s out on September 14th for PC but will arrive for PS4 and Xbox One later.
