DOOM Eternal Has Already Hit Nearly 105,000 Concurrent Players On Steam

Rip and tear until it's done.

It’s finally here. After so much waiting and an unfortunate delay, DOOM Eternal has come. The game has seen some pretty strong reception (you can check out how we felt about it through here), and if these early PC numbers are anything to go by, it seems Bethesda and id have a bona fide hit here.

Via the Steam charts, we can see that DOOM Eternal has already hit a pretty impressive concurrent player count right out of the gate. In just a short time, it managed to get to just under 105,000 concurrent players. For reference, that is three times what its predecessor, 2016’s DOOM, managed to achieve all time. While concurrent players doesn’t necessarily equate to sales, it certainly is a good sign so early on.

DOOM Eternal is available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC and Stadia. A Switch version will release later in the year. For some tips on how to rip and tear with the best of them, we’ve got you covered through here.
