Bioware lead producer Cameron Lee has announced that he’s joined Destiny developer Bungie. Lee previously worked on Dragon Age: Inquisition, the somewhat divisive but still critically acclaimed open world RPG.
Lee noted on Twitter: “Happy to say I’ve joined Bungie as Executive Producer of a new project. Excited to talk about it in the future.”
Given that Bungie’s Luke Smith is in charge of directing Destiny 2, it stands to reason that Lee could be brought on-board for the sequel itself. It’s also possible that he’s working on post-launch DLC content but at this point, it’s fair to assume that this “new project” is Destiny-related. Perhaps a new expansion?
Destiny will already be receiving a brand new update with The Dawning on December 13th which revamps three older Strikes, throws in two new Exotics, introduces Strike Scoring and accompanying Strike bounties and sees the return of Icebreaker. It will also include Sparrow Racing League with two new tracks and two returning tracks.
