Dragon Age Inquisition “The Descent” DLC, Patch 9 Now Available

New character - Pala the Silent Sister - added for multiplayer.

Bioware has released its new story expansion for Dragon Age: Inquisition, The Descent, for Xbox One, PS4 and PC at $15. Patch 9 was also made available today and introduces its own range of fixes and new additions to the game.

The Descent introduces a new single-player dungeon which houses “Thedas’ darkest secrets”. The dungeon itself is beset by Darkspawn and they’ve be fairly tough to take down. For its price though, it remains to be seen how much content it offers players.

Among the fixes in patch 9 – including a hot key for Salvage in multiplayer, various platform-related issues and whatnot – Bioware also added a new character in the form of Pala. The Silent Sister is a dwarven warrior who decided to join the Inquisition, choosing exile in the process, to defeat the forces of darkness in Thedas.
