Dragon Ball FighterZ will be receiving a new FighterZ Pass for its third season with Ultra Instinct Goku included. Bandai Namco released a new trailer showcasing the Dragon Ball Super form. However, Ultra Instinct Goku arrives in Spring. Before that, it’s Kefla, also from Dragon Ball Super.
Kefla, a fusion of Saiyans Kale and Caulifla from Universe 6, goes blow for blow with Super Saiyan Blue Goku in the anime. Thus, to see her in Dragon Ball FighterZ makes sense. She’ll arrive on February 28th as part of FighterZ Pass 3 and will be purchasable standalone.
But that’s not all. Bandai Namco producer Tomoko Hiroki also announced some new features coming in Season 3, including the Z-Assist Select system. This lets players select one of three Assist Attacks for characters, further diversifying battle strategies. There will also be adjustments to help players fight back if they have only one character alive, though whether this will work like Marvel vs. Capcom 3’s X-Factor system remains to be seen.
