Dying Light Dev Demonstrate Co-Op Gameplay in New Video

Something about the apocalypse nearly always screams, "Bring friends".

Techland’s Dying Light has the capacity to support four players in co-op mode, allowing you and three other friends to run around causing mayhem. Well, not exactly mayhem – the city is already in ruins thanks to a zombie outbreak. There’s still plenty to keep you busy as evidenced in a new video with lead developers Tymon Smektała and Maciej Binkowski, brand manager Paweł Modliński and assistant producer Marcel Mitraszewski of Techland.

Some of the objectives include competing with friends to eliminate the most number of zombies, chasing after some of the more powerful zombies in the game over rooftops and buildings, and breaking into areas with a mix of stealth and violence. It looks intriguing and fun. How it will play remains to be seen, as is always the case.

Dying Light is out digitally on January 27th worldwide for Xbox One, PS4 and PC. Will you be playing it? Let us know in the comments.
