We’re all waiting for the next zombie game from Techland, the ambitious sequel of Dying Light 2. The game is said to be in the ‘final stretches,’ but we have no idea when we’ll actually see it. But the first is still going in its support, and it seems that will continue on for some time still.
In an interview with Gamecrate, Ola Sondej, Senior PR Manager of Techland, talking in length about the latest DLC coming for the original Dying Light, Hellraid. That expansion is set to come next week, and is loosely based on a now on-hold game that Techland is working on. When asked if this would be the final DLC for the game, Sondej surprising said no to that, saying support is still planned and “we don’t think of Dying Light: Hellraid as the final DLC and we plan to continue our support for Dying Light.”
It’s not clear if the support will be more expansions like this or something more small scale, but either way, Dying Light keeps on trucking. It’s available now for PS4, Xbox One and PC, with Hellraid dropping July 23rd.
