The release of Dying Light at retail has been a little bit strange for gamers living in Europe, Asia, Australia and the Middle East. But today, European gamers have gotten some sort of comfort after the game was finally given a definitive launch date today by developers Techland.
Finally set to drop into retail stores on 27th February, that’s damn near a full month after the digital release which is still set to arrive in digital stores like Steam on January 28th.
A spokesperson for Techland made sure to inform us that the delay is not the fault of Techland. They said, “Regarding the physical release of Dying Light, we would like to remind fans and media that Techland is in charge of developing and creating Dying Light. The publishing and distribution of Dying Light is not handled by us.”
To make up for the delay, gamers are being offered free DLC alongside the Cuisine & Cargo plus Ultimate Survival Bundle add-ons, which will come bundled in the retail build, free of charge.
