After the hue and cry generated by EA titles like Battlefield 4, FIFA 14 and Need for Speed: Rival costing roughly £62.99 on the UK PS4 Store, EA has managed to drop the prices back down to £59.99 according to Eurogamer. That’s about £3 less, which reflects the cost that these games cost at retail. How wonderful…right?
The curious thing is that these same games cost £54.99 on the Xbox One Store in the UK. There’s a chance that this has something to do with the collaboration between EA and Microsoft, which has extended to exclusive content on Xbox One titles such as the Second Assault DLC releasing first on BF4 for the console, Ultimate Team Legends Mode for FIFA 14, timed exclusivity for Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare and much more.
Regardless, what are your thoughts on the same? Will it push you to prefer games on the Xbox One over the PlayStation 4? Let us know in the comments below.
