With Christmas coming up, EA Sports FC 24 has topped physical sales charts in the UK for the week ending December 16th. Gfk revealed that sales rose by 29 percent week-over-week.
In second place is Hogwarts Legacy, which overtook Super Mario Bros. Wonder. It also saw sales increase by 17 percent. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 remains in fourth place, followed by Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 rising from seventh to fifth place. Meanwhile, despite a decent debut the previous week, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora fell from fifth to 12th place, with sales dropping by 53 percent.
Interestingly, Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate went from 14th to eighth place, with PS5 promotions resulting in a 62 percent increase in sales. Though it didn’t make the top 10, God of War Ragnarok hit 40th place due to discounts and the release of the Valhalla DLC. Check out the top ten best-selling physical titles in the UK.
