EA Sports PGA Tour Officially Unveiled for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC

EA's first new golf simulation game in a decade has received its first gameplay trailer, and is due out for PC and consoles in Spring 2023.

In 2021, EA announced a new multi-year licensing deal with PGA and confirmed that it was working on a new “next-gen” golf game, spelling EA Sports’ return to the golf simulation genre for the first time in over a decade. Now, EA Sports PGA Tour has been officially unveiled with a new teaser trailer.

The trailer is a brief one at half a minute in length, but showcases in-engine gameplay footage, showing off the Augusta National Golf Club in all its glory. Visually, and from a presentation perspective, it seems to be shaping up quite well, though of course, concrete details on gameplay mechanics and how content-rich the game will be at launch haven’t yet been revealed.

When those details will be revealed remains to be seen, but with the game set to launch in Spring 2023, it might be a few more months. In the meantime, check out its debut teaser trailer below.
