“Eden Falls” Trademarked by Microsoft

An old cyberpunk RPG now bound for Xbox One?

According to Trademarkia, Microsoft has recently registered trademark for something called “Eden Falls”. A quick search indicates that Eden Falls is actually a game in development by Brimstone Interactive, and which is a cyberpunk RPG that was set for release on smartphones and tablets along with PC. The game seems to be targeted at a “mature, adult audience” according to the FAQ.

Interestingly, Microsoft’s Lift London studio linked to the game on its official Twitter account. Given the original game’s inactivity, could it be that Microsoft picked up the publishing rights to bring it to the Xbox One? Is an announcement at E3 imminent?

The game is already into development so it wouldn’t be remiss for Microsoft to at least make an announcement in the next two months. It will be interesting if it releases by year end though. Stay tuned for more details and information in the coming weeks.
