Rabbit and Bear Studios’ Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes, a spiritual successor to the Suikoden series, has been delayed. Planned for this year, it’s now launching in Q2 2024 for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, PC and Nintendo Switch.
In an update on Kickstarter, the developer said this was to ensure “the best possible story and to reward the legion of backers with the best game experience possible.” Production is in the final phase, though, with some work-in-progress B-roll footage provided. Check it out below.
Rabbit and Bear Studios is sending emails to Kickstarter backers to specify their platform choice for physical editions over the next month. These will be determined by September end, with platforms for Digital Editions to be requested later.
Finally, it unveiled new looks for CJ, Isha and Garoo, the heroes from Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising. They’re all grown up and have left New Nevaeh for their own purposes, though the developer isn’t going to reveal how you meet them. All you need to know is that Isha is more adventurous, and Garoo is more mature.
Stay tuned for more details on Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes in the coming months. Check out the last major trailer here.
