Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree Guide – How To Reach Ellac River and the Cerulean Coast

Cerulean Coast requires one of the Realm of Shadow's more long-winded journeys to reach. Here's how to find it (and Ellac River).

The Cerulean Coast is probably one of the more complicated regions to reach in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree. It’s visible from the Gravesite Plains, but the route to getting there is long-winded and tests your platforming skills. Prepare yourself, and when ready, go to Castle Ensis.

How to Reach Ellac River and the Cerulean Coast

Just like the journey to Jagged Peak, you need to start from the front of Castle Ensis, where its Site of Grace is. This time, go southeast until you find a poison swamp. Once you’re clear, go north along the winding path. Eventually, you’ll reach a riverbed – go west past the enemies until you discover a tunnel leading to the Ellac River Cave Site of Grace.

So far, so good, but you must head south along the river where the platforming starts. Jump across the rocks, taking care not to fall, while traveling further down. The Ellac River Downstream Site of Grace will appear before the final stretch. From here, jump down the ledges and walk on the collapsed pillar.

A Furnace Golem is ahead, so either fight it or go east (further south, per your map) to avoid it. Eventually, the Cerulean Coast appears, where you can find the Southern Shore Map Fragment and even fight the Ghostflame Dragon.
